Book the last minute room during The Summer's heat wave when my vacation rental had no air conditioning. The main lobby and hotel room were lovely. Everything was clean and tidy... Plenty of towels available in the air conditioning was a welcome relief. The room hadn't recently been updated obviously, the bathroom showed sign of age (it was still perfectly fine). There was plenty of coffee and water provided. The main lobby was lovely. The hallways and stairwell need some significant updating, but otherwise it was a perfectly serviceable room and I would definitely stay again. FYI we did need a passport to register when we walked in.
This hotel was FINE at best. When we got to our room, there were open water bottles. It was clear the cleaning people did not pay much attention to this. It was not a good feeling seeing that. Other than that, our stay was short and fine.
The hotel and staff were nice, but it’s an old building. The outside walls are thin and you can hear every voice and car outside. The shower head faces sideways in the bath and doesn’t turn easily so it’s hard to shower. Other than that, it was a nice stay.
