3 adults and 2 older children (3 family generations) booked a table easily to eat early evening whilst on holiday in the area a few miles away, and the fact we were permitted to bring our dog with us was a tremendous plus, even though in the end the dog stayed behind. The staff were ALL so friendly, helpful and accommodating, and we all enjoyed the variety of dishes we ordered. The food was excellent quality and we would all heartily recommend this restaurant. Well done Tigh Na Mara!
Excellent all round. Room was adequate size wise and well appointed. The public bar is rustic and selling numerous ales and spirits and the locals are exceptionally friendly. Food- only one word for it DELICIOUS Staff- exceptional
We had an early bird evening meal here on Monday 18 th August it was excellent , place was busy , staff were charming , very much welcomed our dog ! It is just a win win with us . We chose the prawn cocktail which was massive and Stilton stuffed mushrooms excellent . Then roast of the day and fish and chips both really good , fish was so light and not greasy it was perfect delicious home made chips . Roast was lean and loads of beef . Dessert was massive home made waffle with ice cream and sauces . A coke and an appetiser £62.00 FABULOUS!
