I stayed in some of the fanciest hotels in downtown Montreal, but there was 1 thing that I feel like we completely miss in Canada compared to Europe - there's not enough hotels that offer rooms with a private jacuzzi/sauna. In fact, the only one that I'm aware of is the Vogue Hotel. After a bunch of research, I found this little gem in Le Fabreville and I was pleasantly surprised that they offered rooms with a large jacuzzi and steam baths. Despite not being known as a 5 star hotel, the rooms and service rivals that of one - the staff was great, the rooms felt super clean and taken care of and the breakfast area had a very cute and tranquil setup. In fact, I don't think a single hotel in Montreal/Laval offers an outside breakfast area with such a cute and well maintained area. The food wasn't anything too special, but I wasn't expecting it either and it does the job if you want to grab something light. I highly suggest you check out their suites as you won't regret it! Easily one of my favorite hotels here in Quebec and I'll be sure to return. Note that the check-in process is extremely discreet and the rooms are strategically placed so that you won't have any issues with "nosy neighbors" either. The room's soundproofing is great too - there was supposedly a thunderstorm in the morning while we were sleeping and we didn't even notice.
We stayed here as we had a concert at place bell and it was close enough! Rooms were decently clean and the complimentary breakfast was a plus. Staff were friendly. We could hear people outside at night but we were tired enough to sleep through it. Would stay again if in the area!
The hotel was very nice and clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, the receptionist who checked us in could benefit from additional hospitality training. We didn’t feel welcomed upon arrival, and it gave the impression that checking us in was more of a favor than a service. More effort is needed to ensure the hotel feels genuinely hospitable to paying guests.
