Fontebussi Tuscan Resort

I stayed at the Fontebussi resort when I was on a yoga retreat with Tuscan Fitness and really enjoyed my time there. The hotel property is beautiful, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the setting is peaceful and picturesque. There are two large swimming pools and the restaurant is great. The laundry service is not the most convenient and the pool bar was sometimes closed but overall I had a great time and would love to go back again sometime.

This was an exceptional meal - our best in Italy over the duration of our stay. Winemaker, Guiseppe Sala, whose winery I Selvatici is just down the road, called ahead for us and we were greeted warmly by an excellent staff. We were seated on the balcony in the shade and welcomed with an amuse bouche and a glass of bubbly. The menu selections sent waves of oohs and ahhs around the table, and we settled on a good array, including truffle risotto for two which would be finished at the table in a Parmesan wheel - yes, really. We enjoyed a stunning Soave to accompany our meal and my young nephew finished every bite of his pesto pasta. The staff was attentive and engaged with us with good humour and perfect service. This was a delicious, highly-enjoyable meal with a stunning meal. Highly recommended.
