What a gorgeous hotel! We had a stunning few days here whilst visiting Porto and were very kindly upgraded as well ☺️ it’s about a 15 minute walk into central Porto, but not difficult to do at all. The staff at reception were always on hand for check-in, luggage storage, key displacement, and drinks at the bar! The rooms are beautifully decorated and the shower was so good! Lovely little outside area where you can have a drink in the evening, or read your book in the shade during the day ☀️

Lovely hotel and the staff is fantastic! So friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was just slightly far from the main attractions in Porto. Still walkable, but be prepared for a lot of walking!

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Although the room technically had a window, it was just a single small pane, and absolutely no sunlight could get in. The room was dark at all times — even in the morning with all the lights turned on, it remained dim and gloomy. At night, it felt like living in the era before electric lights. For someone with poor eyesight, like myself, this was especially uncomfortable and even unsafe. To make matters worse, although our booking included breakfast, we were singled out by the staff at the restaurant entrance. Because we are Asian, the staff specifically stopped us to ask for our room number — presumably to check if we were entitled to breakfast — while white guests walked in without being questioned. This felt discriminatory and left us feeling unwelcome. Racial bias, intentional or not, should never happen in hospitality. Also, don’t be fooled by the photos on hotel booking platforms. The pictures show bright, spacious rooms — but the reality is the complete opposite. The lighting is extremely poor, and the rooms feel much smaller and darker than advertised. It’s a clear case of misleading marketing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values comfort, honesty, and respectful treatment.
