Fora Hotel Hannover by Mercure

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, I honestly can’t recommend it enough it was amazing! The room was huge, everything was so clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and helpful always. Really the room was the highlight - book the newly refurbished privilege room - absolutely stunning, everything is very stylish, fresh and new. I had breakfast included, I used it once but breakfast isn’t really a thing for me - I just had the fruit and yoghurt which was lovely but they also had continental style with lots of bread/cheese/meat as well as hot food. Even now I’m sat in the lovely garden terrace waiting to leave for my flight and the staff are sweeping under every table while it’s quiet and using weed killer. You can tell this hotel is well looked after from top to bottom.

I had the pleasure of staying at the FORA Hannover by Mercure, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a beautifully designed space that set the tone for the entire stay. The rooms are modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with comfortable beds that ensured a great night's sleep. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as the complimentary coffee and tea, and the stunning view of the city from my window. The hotel's location is ideal to pick up train and explore all the key attractions, restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to explore Hannover. In addition, the on-site dining options were fantastic. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning, featuring a wide variety of fresh and local ingredients. One of the highlights of my stay was the attentive and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They provided excellent recommendations for local sights and dining, adding a personal touch that made me feel truly valued as a guest. Overall, FORA Hotel Hannover by Mercure is a gem in the heart of the city. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. I can’t wait to return!

Checking into the hotel was a breeze, the floor numbering is a bit weird though, with rooms beginning with 2, being on the 3rd floor. It makes sense when you get in the lift, as they've numbered the buttons according to the room number. Having booked one of their newer rooms, which on their website clearly stated 1 King Bed, I was sorely disappointed, that this was simply 2 twin beds pushed together. In no world are 2 twin beds pushed together the same as a King. They're shorter for one. Also, they were not locked or zipped together, and made up as separate beds. This made for 5 nights of waking up in the middle of the night falling down the middle. awful experience. Pillows were basic too, very thin, very soft. When are hotels going to start realising that memory foam exists? Breakfast was adequate, coffee was a bit weak, but everything else was nothing to write home about. Bar area never busy when I was there, had a few beers, staff always happy to chat. Check out was seamless and quick.
