Forbes Victoria Inn

We stayed at the Victoria Inn on the Friday night, while the Elvis festival was on in Parkes. After reading the reviews, we were apprehensive as to the condition of the rooms. The motel is in desperate need of a refurbishment, inside & out. However, the room was clean as was the bathroom, just run down. There is a small balcony, where you get a glimpse of the lake. The motel is in the centre of Forbes shopping area, so walking to shop or go to the great hotels is easy. The lake is metres away & a walk along it is a must. Would we go there again, probably not, but the most important thing is that the bed is comfortable, the shower is adequate & the motel is situated in the centre of town. The ironing board is a classic!!

Why would u sleep on a on bed with sew on plastic adult bed really felt like I was in hospital yuk need revamp beds rooms n bathroom needs to vac floor properly as food scraps in floor n under cushion on lounge stayed there in March 25

After a long day of travel was looking for a nice place to stay paid $150 for the price I thought I would get a nice room but when I stepped in it smelled like mouse pee . The room was cold the air conditioning didn’t warm up the room no electric blanket so I wrapped a spare blanket around me just to keep warm. Won’t be returning in the future.
