Fordson Hotel in the Unbound Collection by Hyatt

The rooms were so spacious & thoughtfully designed. The history of the building is incredible. The ambience the art throughout the hotel created was fun & interesting. Valet was incredible, friendly and so kind. A couple of good restaurants within walking distance and interesting shops. The coffee shop on property had great service and was perfect to get the day started. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

The idea of the hotel is great we loved the ambience of the entire place. But sadly the service was not great and our hotel room had some damaged pieces in it. He highly recommend the restaurant but would try to avoid breakfast (hard bread and small portions for the price). The pool is also super small for the actually location. One more thing even though you are only one block away from the OKC jail it actually feels very safe.

The rooms are very hot and the AC does not work well. You have no control from the thermostat in the room. It’s a cute hotel; but leaves a lot to be desired. They fixed the AC 3.5 hours after we checked in. From the reviews it seems like this is a common issue. The AC had to be manually turned on by a maintenance person who had to climb in the ceiling. The motion detection clearly doesn’t work and you should anticipate a hot room if you book here. We won’t stay here again. Our room is 75 degrees right now 😩
