Forellenhof Rössle Hotel & Restaurant

This restaurant was recommended by my colleague a long time ago, and I finally had a chance to visit here. The cream potatoes were amazing, the fish and vegetables were perfectly cooked. Positively very impressed. I will definitely be back.

Were there only for lunch, and it was really tasty. Service was also friendly and helpful. Portions are big so take into account the size.

The hotel is partially new partially recently renovated and offer a very good standard as 4. Stars hotel. The new building is on the other side of a quite trafficked street. There is no air conditioning so in summer could be hot but you cannot open the windows because of the street. The restaurant offers very good fresh food and breakfast. But if you are staying, there is no bar or lounge to sit afterwards or possibility to order a drink. The Spa is actually offering only sauna and a roof terrace where you can rest afterwards but the sun is shining it can get really really hot and there are only 3-4 sitting possibilities outside. They offer massage (the only massage therapist I have seen is a man, so I did not try) and other beauty treatments. The changing room is tiny with no privacy at all and you have to share it (men and women), including the shower (only one available where you can hide behind a curtain). The service is far from acceptable in a 4 star hotel and depends from the single person: some are very kind, some are bordering rudeness. For a very short stay—1-2 nights- may be a good destination but not for longer. I don’t necessarily recommend.
