I rarely write hotel reviews—this might even be my first. But this hotel gave me such a unique experience that I felt compelled to share. It offers a sense of serenity and peace that's hard to find. The room was spacious with a high ceiling, and the lobby and surrounding views were absolutely mesmerizing. The staff are friendly and always willing to assist, making the stay even more pleasant. Give yourself a chance to experience staying at Marina Hotel ⛳😁

Hotel Restaurant Review I had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant several times and overall, it was a very good experience. The food is consistently tasty and well-prepared, and the place itself is beautiful — a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy a meal. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. However, there are a few things that could definitely be improved. One major issue is the service. It’s not uncommon to sit at a table for over three hours without anyone coming to take an order or check in. The staff should be more attentive — checking in from time to time to see if guests need anything, clearing empty plates, or simply asking if everything is okay. Consistency in presentation would also help. For example, when ordering coffee, sometimes it’s served with a cookie and sugar on the side, other times it’s just the coffee alone. Establishing a standard would make the experience feel more polished. Lastly, when a guest arrives at the restaurant, someone should promptly approach them to offer assistance. As it stands, it’s often necessary to walk inside and ask at the reception desk in order to be served, which takes away from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. With a few adjustments in service and attention to detail, this restaurant could easily become a top dining spot

So there's a cafe located at the lobby with white boxes (with mini lounge inside) that requires pre-booking to use the aaid facility. There was no barrier nor sign indicating that, and once I was up close to the boxes I was being INTERROGATED by the security guard as if I'm doing something sus in a restricted zone. I was being questioned 2-3 times repeatedly despite answering that I was looking around for toilet. Your foreign talent is obviously on a power-trip and should NEVER treat a visiting guest this way with an attitude. On the other hand, the cafe is cashless but also doesn't accept TnG payment. This place indeed feels more China than Malaysia despite the relaxing ambience (at first impression) provided. Much improvements are needed in terms of what was mentioned.
