Highly recommend this B&B! Ran by a super nice couple, who have us many recommendations for the area. Nice, quiet location. Great breakfast cooked each morning, which changes each day so it doesn’t get boring.
Amazing location in the east part of Prince Edward Island. Just 20 minutes drive from Wood Island ferry terminal and 95 minutes from Borden-Carleton, the first village after crossing the Confederation bridge. The Trans-Canada Confederation trail route is right next to the house. They also offer free kayaks, canoes and pedal boats with life jackets to navigate the lake near the house, which is narrow and circa one kilometer long. There is free outdoor parking and the house is modern, with good facilities and is very clean. We stayed four nights in the spacious Romance room, with a very comfortable bed, good air conditioning, attractive decoration and no noise even though the house had several guests at the same time. There is free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with access to Prime and Netflix. It also has a spa, 24/7 coffee and tea, and the home-made breakfasts are delicious. The owners offer great value to any newcomer as they give free and detailed information on local attractions, including the best restaurants to visit.
There was an unavoidable change in my travel plans a week prior to my stay. I respectfully requested the property to cancel my trip due to these unforseen circumsances and they refused outright and charged me for the full stay. This was during July, I am certain they would have easily been able to fill the vacancy. Just want to warn anyone out there they these guys are totally unflexible when it comes to understanding that sometimes travellers have events happen that impact travel plans beyond their control.
