I had an amazing stay at the Ramada by Wyndham Kissimmee Gateway. The hotel is very well-equipped, spotless, and offers an impressive range of facilities for guests, including free parking, a beautiful swimming pool, a well-maintained gym, on-site restaurants, and even a gift shop. Everything you might need during your stay is right there on the premises. The location is also perfect, just minutes away from Disney World, with a convenient free shuttle service, and close to numerous shopping outlets, restaurants, and entertainment options. What truly stood out was the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable. A special mention goes to the general manager, Mr. Dalton, who went above and beyond to make sure every guest had a memorable experience and left with a smile. His dedication and leadership are clearly reflected in the excellent atmosphere of the hotel. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Orlando/Kissimmee area, I will definitely be returning!
The hotel is in a great location. The room was clean and well-organized — no complaints whatsoever regarding the facilities. The service at the restaurant was excellent. We ordered a pizza and two hamburger combos, all of which were delicious and reasonably priced. Our overall experience with the hotel staff was very positive, with two exceptions. We were traveling with our Labrador retriever, and unfortunately had a negative encounter with one of the maintenance staff who used inappropriate language (“fuck”) when our dog calmly walked nearby. This was uncalled for and left a bad impression. The second issue occurred despite our having paid for a late check-out (3:00 PM) and placing a “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door. A housekeeper knocked at 11:00 AM, which disrupted our rest and contradicted the hotel’s stated late check-out policy. Suggestions for Improvement: • Train staff, especially maintenance and housekeeping, on how to interact appropriately with guests who have pets — especially well-known friendly breeds like Labradors. • If the hotel is pet-friendly, personnel should be trained to treat guests with pets with respect and basic courtesy. • Reinforce adherence to “Do Not Disturb” signs and paid late check-out times to ensure a more seamless guest experience. Other than those two incidents, our stay was very enjoyable, and we would recommend this hotel to others.
Just checked in tonight for a several night stay due to it being a Wyndham resort. Usually being a Diamond member, when we go to a Wyndham resort, they treat us great and give us available upgrades. These little perks are why my company uses Wyndham almost exclusively and why the brand has won our travel loyalty. Unfortunately, although this resort isn't that busy nothing like this was offered to us at all even when I asked about it. So anyone that uses Wyndham loyalty, just know that this resort doesn't really participate in it as much as other resorts in the area do. So look elsewhere, I know we will.
