We stayed in the Kiln House. Absolutely beautiful, and very well appointed. Loved sleeping with the windows open, being lulled to sleep by the waterfall. Great breakfast, too. Highly recommend.
I stayed at Forss House in around 1992 for an extended stay while working at a nearby power plant. What a treat that was for me. The bar is wonderful and I learned so much about Scotch, too much maybe :) The hotel holds a warm spot in my heart and brings back many wonderful memories of exploring that part of Scotland, far to the north,
Horrible. They advertise “super-king size” beds in all rooms. We had at best a queen that had barely any room on each side in the room, a window looking at the top of the lawn where people walk by and peer in, and this was their “deluxe room” at over 400 pounds for one night. Rip off big time. Go elsewhere!!
