Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

We had a room on the uppermost floor and on a corner, great view of the beach and intercostal. Great breeze all the time. Just hung out on balcony when we were in the room. Would definitely stay here again.

When we got home from our trip we realized we forgot to empty our safe. We called back to ask for help and were told they have a policy that 2 people must be present to open a safe when that happens. We were also told that the house keeper said the safe was open and empty when she came in. We explained more than once that the safe was locked when we left. No one cared to help us. I also made multiple attempts to talk to the general manager and my calls were never returned. One of the items in there was a password list. I had to change everything and I am still having problems.

Horrible hotel. Really old and it has BED BUGS AND COCKroaches. The elevator takes forever and it’s really small. Soon as we walked in our room the card reader on the door came flying off. People cooking fish In another room and the hallway smells so bad. There’s this loud sharp beep that keeps going off it’s 6am and it’s been going off all morning and it hurts my ears. Sheets and all look so old and dirty I don’t even wanna pull back these covers. It is spacious and in a good location it’s close to the beach and food/ stores but the hotel itself looks sketchy from the moment you turn into the street to get to the hotel. Ravi and Ramona did refund us for the stay after we checked out the rooom two days earlier than expected
