It’s the ultimate spot for every summer getaway, our children eagerly anticipate returning to relive the wonderful memories from their holiday. At Pinette, you are welcomed with warm hospitality and convenient access to all amenities. Everything is well-prepared and arranged, making Forte Village the perfect destination for a fantastic family vacation. I highly recommend it, and it will always be our top choice.
Our recent family vacation at Hotel Pineta was a memorable experience. As a family with young children, we were looking for a family resort with lots of activities for our kids and a nice beach. Needless to say that Hotel Pineta and the entire resort exceeded our expectations in every way possible. From the moment we arrived the staff has always been warm and friendly. They arranged our restaurant reservations and they were always ready to assist with any questions or requests we had. The Hotel is not the closest to the beach but that wasn't a problem for us: we all rented bikes and the kids were extremely happy to ride around the whole resort. The rooms were spacious and bright and overall we appreciated that they were in a quiet spot, far from the main street. Our children loved the sport academies: they tried the football and go kart and can't wait to go back. They also had a lot of fun at the Acquapark, they wanted to stay there all day! Me and my husbad tried almost all the restaurants in the resort. We particularly enjoyed the themed evenings, where we indulged in various international cuisines. We highly recommend this resort to families looking for a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and quality time together. We are already planning our next vacation there!
We spent our summer holiday at Forte Village Resort (Pineta) and, unfortunately, we can only say: this was by far the worst “five-star” resort we’ve ever stayed at, especially when compared to resorts like Ikos or the Four Seasons. What is offered here is in no way worth the price, nor does it meet any reasonable luxury standard. The problems started upon arrival, despite booking a Van transfer, a much too small car showed up, barely fitting our family and luggage. The room itself was small, outdated and completely unacceptable for the price paid. Repeated issues with the room keys, which still have the room number printed on them (a serious security issue). A broken safe, noisy surroundings, squeaking doors and after switching rooms, the keys again didn’t work. The shower was broken, a screw was lying on the sofa, the room was left open after housekeeping, and we even had ants inside. The entire resort is completely outdated. The tennis area is in questionable condition. Public restrooms (if at all available) are both insufficient and dirty. The level of organization is chaotic. The beach situation was a daily struggle: despite confirming sunbeds for three people for the entire stay, we received only two multiple times, and they were gone again the next day. Staff at the beach was unhelpful and unfriendly. To make it worse, we were constantly approached by beach vendors every two minutes; completely unacceptable for such a resort. At lunchtime (in Beachcomber), we waited three separate times over 45 minutes each just for a plate of pasta for our child. In a family resort, this is beyond unreasonable. During dinner, a large plant fell onto our child; thankfully without injury. The evening buffet in Castello was disappointing, there was poor selection and quality. Generally the quality of the food is completely unacceptable for a five-star property. When choosing other restaurants (not included ones) they rip you off with unreasonable prices (90/130/190 Euros extra per Person) In the Steak/Grill restaurant, one of the waiters openly told us he was sick! This is not exactly reassuring. At the Castello pool, our personal belongings were removed without explanation. The pool at Castello is completely outdated and bricks are broken. Buggies drive like maniacs throughout the resort, with no regard for pedestrians. Although huge offer of various sports (especially the Football Academy is great for kids), one has to pay extra for everything (except Tennis and Padel). For example, you pay 25 Euros for 30minutes of PingPong. An absolute rip-off. Even the departure matched the overall experience. There was no help with luggage, we had to carry our own suitcases. The Forte Village is nowhere near a true luxury resort. The price and what you get for it are totally out of balance. If you are used to high-quality service and real five-star experiences, you better avoid this place at all costs.
