Fouquet's New York

I recently had the opportunity to experience the High Iced Tea at Fouquet's NYC on their gorgeous summer terrace, and it was truly unforgettable. The views of the city are breathtaking, offering a perfect blend of summer energy and tranquility, with plenty of greenery creating the feeling that you’re in a beautiful garden oasis above the city. The furniture and design choices are impeccable, with a stunning color palette that feels fresh, elegant, and soothing all at once. The La DoubleJ tea set is vibrant and joyful, blending seamlessly into the overall aesthetic while adding a playful touch to the experience. The sandwich and pastry selection was outstanding, with each item beautifully crafted and presented. Everything tasted light, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, making it easy to enjoy the variety without feeling overwhelmed. Each bite felt like a small celebration of summer flavors. What made the experience even more special was the amazing hospitality and attentive service. The staff made sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive, adding warmth and genuine care that made me feel truly welcome. Fouquet’s NYC itself is an extraordinary hotel in one of the best locations in the city, and this high iced tea experience is a perfect way to slow down and treat yourself, whether you’re a visitor or a local looking for a peaceful escape. I would absolutely recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a memorable, elegant, and refreshingly different tea experience in New York City. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel! Front Staff was very hospitable and elegant. My issues and complaints were about the quality of the bed sheets and pillow cases. There were multiple stains on bedding sheets and the pillow cases had a mold like scent. This is the 2nd time we stayed there, and the quality of the bedding seems to be going downhill. After complaining, the staff was accommodating and invited us to the roof for a cocktail. The sheets had many stains that we had to take a photo.

This is my first hotel review, and I must say my experience at Fouquets was quite disappointing. While I can understand the appeal of visiting the restaurant or bar, I would recommend opting for a Holiday Inn instead. As expected in New York, the rooms were small, and we paid a premium for the location and brand. However, our main issue was with the air conditioning, which struggled to cool below 70 degrees. We had checked over 3 rooms, one that we changed when we first arrived the main room we stayed in and one suite staying in for one night. On our last night, we had to rely on a fan, and despite calling for assistance twice after midnight, nothing was fixed. It seemed like a problem with their system. The staff were pleasant, but it was clear that there were management and branding issues. The spa was underwhelming, and one of the showers was out of order—something that should be basic for any hotel. We didn’t receive any communication or apology from management regarding the AC issues, and when we requested a one-hour late check-out, we were denied. This was frustrating, especially since we had hoped to enjoy our stay and avoid moving to a different hotel. In summary, this hotel lacks class. No matter how nicely it’s decorated on the outside, the experience inside leaves much to be desired.
