Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube

I’ve stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube three times so far—and every stay has been a real pleasure. Whether I’m in Budapest for business or a short getaway, this hotel has become my go-to place. The location is fantastic: right across from Margaret Island, with a vibrant street full of excellent restaurants, bars, and small shops just around the corner. From the hotel, it’s an easy 25-minute walk to Heroes' Square and the beautiful city park with its famous thermal baths. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and well-equipped, including a generous bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a desk that makes working during your stay very convenient. What makes it even more special is the balcony view overlooking the Danube and Margaret Island—absolutely stunning, especially from the higher floors. One of my favorite places in the hotel is the Rooftop Bar on the 9th floor. It’s the perfect place to relax with a coffee or a glass of wine, enjoying the beautiful view and the warm, attentive service. Speaking of service: the front desk team is outstanding. Whether it’s check-in, check-out, or just walking through the lobby, I’ve always been welcomed with genuine friendliness and professionalism. The staff are attentive, helpful, and make you feel truly welcome. This hotel is an excellent choice for solo travelers, business trips, or weekend escapes with friends or a partner. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest!

Absolutely top-notch hotel right at the edge of the Danube River with breathtaking panoramic views! I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about the staff and my experience here. First of all Adnan, thank you for building this wonderful property and allowing the Sheraton to operate here. Second, thank you to Tamas, who was extremely kind and accommodating in every single way. I really appreciate you! Also, thank you to Aniko and Ali! And of course, thank you to David, a wonderful general manager who runs this hotel. Now, here’s the scoop on what you need to know. First, this hotel is small. About 106 rooms in total. More importantly there are only two suites in the whole hotel. They’re both on the 9th floor. Each is unique. High ceilings, luxurious bathrooms, and ultra comfortable beds. We stayed in both. One is the panoramic suite, which is basically one big room. It has breathtaking views. Only drawback is that it can be loud from the rooftop bar located next door. Otherwise it is great. The second suite is the one we prefer. It’s the only two room suite in the hotel. Meaning it has a separate living and bedroom. The the shower is also much nicer than the one in the panoramic suite. Breakfast is also really good. A beautiful spread and they bake bread here fresh which is absolutely delicious. You can also order dishes from the chef as part of the buffet such as omelette, egg dishes, etc. There’s a small gym on the lower level, but when there’s more than 2 or 3 people in there it feels really crowded. Sadly, there is no pool or spa here. Outside of that I absolutely recommend this place in every way. It’s in a quiet part of the city. It’s less central but well worth it for the peace of mind of a safe, quiet, and family-friendly neighborhood. Highly recommend this place!!

Great price and good, walkable location. Highly recommend for ppl who’s gonna have cruise trip, its take 5 minutes walk to the dock only. Room not so spacious but comfortable, smells good and clean.
