Four Points by Sheraton Kampala

This was our second stay and we will certainly stay again. In addition we will recommend others who visit Kampala stay as well. We traveled with a group of 20+ and stayed for nearly 2 weeks. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Their communication was welcomed as they wanted to always be prepared for our group. The one major downside is not even their fault. A nightclub across the street that hosts parties EVERY night into the early morning. We were thankful for the earplugs provided by the front desk attendant. And the laundry service was a bit pricey. All in all a great stay with very comfortable beds and wonderful showers.

I appreciated the interior design of the restaurant. it is tasteful and well thought out. My food was well-prepared, and I was particularly impressed by the generous portion of my dessert. However, the ventilation in the restaurant was not very noticeable, which made the room feel quite warm.

We stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Kampala and we attempted to extend our stay because Booking.com clearly showed available rooms for the dates we needed. Despite this, the front desk would not extend and offered unhelpful explanations. The disconnect between Booking.com’s availability and the hotel’s response was frustrating, and the service felt unprofessional and unsympathetic. This experience overshadowed what otherwise could have been a pleasant visit. I hope the hotel addresses this gap in customer care and ensures future guests aren’t subjected to the same treatment. If you’re considering a stay here, be aware that you may encounter difficulty extending your stay despite online availability.
