Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai Vashi

The hotel was excellent through and through. The large breakfast and dinner buffets both had good variety day to day, and were hot and delicious. The room accommodations and service were comfortable (good A/C, lots of bottled water, coffee, tea, comfortable bed with clean sheets). Surrounding area is clean and safe. Excellent, excellent value. Specifically, the hotel bar & restaurant is great. Everyone there was repeatedly above and beyond in service, especially Parth who served me dinner every night for 5 nights. On the first night, I told him I had never been to India before. He recommended some amazing items on the menu, and even asked the chef to prepare them special for me so I would know Mumbai's food. The second time I came in he remembered me and my order, and the service and friendliness felt like I had been coming there every day for a month. He and the rest of the bartenders/managers are clearly proud of the restaurant and the kitchen's offerings. Thanks to you, Parth, and the rest of your wonderful team. Great hotel for business and first time travelers. Not terribly far from the BOM airport - better value than hotels near the airport overall based on comparing my experience with coworkers'.

First thing you would notice is everything is old in the hotel. My room had broken chair, broken ironing board and even the shower couldn’t hold the water pressure. One important thing is sound insulation in the rooms- even though i was in 14th floor, i could hear every car horn loud and clear from the street below. While the staff are doing a great job- especially the house keeping staffs- the hotel needs much revamping which they started from the lobby. That construction sound is often heard in the guest room and the whole hotel needs immediate updating. Breakfast was good but the restaurant staff should pay a bit more attention on table cutlery, salt and pepper, stirrers etc. as often i had to ask them for things. Overall a moderate stay but definitely not one you would expect from Marriot brand.

They are doing construction work in rooms above and next to rooms where guests are staying. They have made no effort to dampen the sound or isolate the area. You can feel the drilling in your bones. Unless you enjoy being tortured, do not stay here. And the best part is we can’t call reception to complain because the intercom phone has louder static than the Titanic must have experienced.
