I went here for business trip. The room was clean, the staffs are friendly and helpful. The breakfast food and conference hall was very nice. It was nearby with stadium merdeka so i usually went there for jogging. Also, the gym was good and treadmill is good. Plus, the location is at city centre so you wont be bored. Will definitely revisit for healing, traveling to KL and also stadium merdeka visit.
Staff were friendly and the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. However, the towels felt cheap, and the room had more of a budget-hotel vibe. My husband’s takeaway breakfast was just a simple sandwich, and there was no plain water at the breakfast area unless you asked. Overall, this didn’t feel like a typical Marriott experience. Hopefully management can improve.
Hotel has no hot water for all the rooms. Quite a nightmare to check-in and then to find out that the hotel is out of hot water when we are in our room. This info should have been made known to us before check-in since this issue occurred earlier and the hotel's team was supposedly trying to resolve the issue since then. The option for a full refund should be given if guests choose not to continue with the stay when this info is presented at check-in. There is no service recovery, and no management in the lobby to explain to guests. And front desk can't tell if hot water will resume the next day when we enquired again at night. My second stay and such a pity as the first stay was wonderful in all aspect. Don't think I will stay again since 1) hotel shows that some processes are definitely way wrong if they cannot get the hot water to work after more than 6 hours 2) front desk can be nonchalent and tell us nothing can be done, which seems to indicate that it is not a once off incident and guests are expected to accept the situation Not something I expect from Marriott to take advantage of their guests by offering such sub-par experience.
