This hotel was extremely nice and updated. The rooms were spacious, and the common areas were well maintained. The bar and the breakfast also had good food selections. The service was also exceptional. Francesca made our check-in smooth and helped us navigate getting around the area and to the city center. All of the staff we encountered were helpful, friendly, and professional. Across the street, there is a mall. It is unsuspecting from the outside, but there was good food and stores there. We would definitely stay at this location again.
The location is further out than expected. You’re going to have to spend more money in a Taxi than needed. Recommend staying closer to Venice if this is your main point in going. The staff were extremely friendly and the room size was great for our family. I just don’t know what’s going on with their showers. The bottom of the tubs are dirty looking and the edges are filled with visible mold. I’m picky about bathrooms and expect them to be maintained in Marriott level hotels. Other than this issue, the hotel was great. The breakfast has a wide variety of options to choose from. Meats, salad bar, yogurt and fruits, pastry table, bread table, fresh made bacon & eggs, etc.
This is a nice modern hotel with a friendly staff. The room was good enough but the Deluxe room was small. The staff was very helpful. My complaint about this hotel is that it’s a little dirty. There are stains on the lobby carpets and a big rip in the lobby seats. These are not huge issues but unacceptable for a Marriott. The location is also a bit weird. The hotel is surrounded by big box retail stores. Garden centers and the like. But there is a very nice mall within 10 minutes that has everything you might need. The city center is maybe 10 minutes by cab. And the tram to old city of Venice is 20 minutes and $45 euro by cab. We would stay in Venice to visit Venice. We were passing through to catch a cruise ship and this hotel was fine. I should add that the restaurant for breakfast was good. And the room rate a better value than Venice lagoon pricing.
