Four Points Flex by Sheraton Göttingen

A very good hotel. The rooms are quiet and very clean, the location is really good (walking distance to city center and station), reception staff is very efficient, the food is good. The parking is free. I will be happy to stay in this hotel again in future.

We stayed here on our drive back from a holiday in Italy, where we desperately needed a hotel at 3 AM in the morning. I had found the hotel previously, but was unable to book it online that late at night, so I called the hotel and was told to come since there were rooms available. Our family was greeted by a very friendly and welcoming night receptionist (I believe Majid was his name) who did his utmost to help us out with an extra bed, even though housekeeping naturally was not present this late. He really did not have to do this, but he did! We feared we would be met which a ridiculously high price arriving so late without a booking, but price seemed to be normal and quite fair. Room was not the biggest, but was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good.

No fridge, kettle, complimentary tea or coffee. Not even bottle of water. Trying to be too sustainable by reducing number of towels and I had to went down and asked for towels 💩 There is no A/C and My room faces somewhat busy street so can’t leave the window open. No parking ❌
