What a lovely hotel to stay at after a long journey from the states! The beds were incredibly comfortable. The highlights: breakfast and dinner at Elena’s (hotel restaurant) was incredible! The location of the hotel is perfect and is a great neighborhood for shopping. Gorgeous pool area. Finally the staff were the liveliest humans! I hope we have the pleasure of returning to this Four Seasons in the future.
Exceptional property- still our favorite FS in design and service. We loved the Rojo Tango show, and private tango lesson and polo experience they arranged for us, and the sleek equestrian-inspired furnishings throughout and well-appointed E-lounge.
I’m currently staying at the hotel with my partner. Our stay is for around 17 days in total. Today I had a very disappointing experience. Almost every day, my partner and I go to the buffet breakfast, so we’re familiar with how breakfast works here. Last night, I found a card on the bedside table asking to fill in breakfast items for in-room delivery. There were no prices listed—just a place to write what you want and how much of it. I ordered what I usually have at the buffet downstairs. Of course I would be happy to pay for breakfast delivery to my room. This morning, I was waiting for the breakfast to arrive in the room. But when it came, I was shocked to be asked to sign a check for $200 for the breakfast. I was really frustrated and upset. It felt like I was being tricked. There was no mention on the card that each item had a separate charge, and no prices at all. If I had known, I would have just gone to the buffet like every other day. I refused the delivery and didn’t sign anything, but I was left without breakfast and feeling very disappointed. On top of that, the hotel management wasn’t helpful at all when I tried to explain the situation. I’m really unhappy with how this was handled. I expected more clarity and better service. Next time we stay in Buenos Aires, we will consider a different hotel.
