Although the nice hotel rooms are admittedly ready for the renovation that is currently discreetly underway, the common areas of this beautiful hotel are wonderful. In addition, what makes this (and all other Four Seasons locations) truly spectacular is the staff. The always well-staffed concierge desk provided assistance that made our vacation to Mexico City a million times better - they really sought to understand our preferences and personalities and the whole crew (especially Agnes) hooked us up. Front desk and restaurant staff were similarly exceptional. Housekeeping even brought my daughter nut-free conditioner because of her allergy. You can’t go wrong here, even if you happen to visit during the construction as we did.

Absolutely amazing stay. 4S does service like none other!!! A small but excellent example — we were running out of toothpaste, and room service noticed! Left us extras without us asking :) Beautiful property, amazing employees.

Stayed here for 5ish nights. Truly a mixed bag. The hotel itself is quite good and the staff are very friendly with incredible service. The huge problem was the construction, which will be happening for quite a while longer. The note on the website understates the impact of this significantly; the noise is so loud that rooms are completely unusable during the day. The website said there would be a floor between construction and used rooms which I can confirm is untrue; we had construction happening directly above and directly below our floor, we could literally feel strong vibrations in the room. They provide “ear plugs” which is almost funny because of how little noise reduction they offer. Naps during the day, reading, taking phone calls were completely off the table. If the hotel is serious about staying open during this, they should offer noise cancelling headphones to guests and a better warning on the site. Staff offered a dining credit which I appreciate, but just beware if you think you’ll need your room during the day you absolutely should not stay here. Outside of that, the stay and hotel are amazing and I think would make for an amazing stay.
