Five stars – A Sophisticated Sanctuary in the Heart of Milan We stayed at the Four Seasons Milan last week and had a truly exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was everything you would hope for—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s the level of service you expect from a Four Seasons, and then some. Each morning, we enjoyed a peaceful breakfast on the patio. The setting was serene, and the food was fresh and plentiful—delicious pastries, seasonal fruit, and a variety of egg dishes (including toasts with Italian touches that quickly became a favorite). It was the perfect way to start our day. In the afternoons, we often found ourselves relaxing in the La Veranda, where the cocktails were excellent and the atmosphere inviting. We also loved spending time in the lounge adjacent to the lobby bar—Camino—which offered a quiet, beautifully appointed space to unwind. What really struck us was the elegant contrast between the original 15th-century convent architecture and the sophisticated renovations that have transformed it into a modern luxury hotel. The exposed marble columns, archways, and frescoes are thoughtfully preserved and seamlessly integrated into a chic, contemporary design. The location is ideal—within easy walking distance to the Duomo, museums, restaurants, and upscale shopping.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Zelo in Milan, and were lucky enough to be served by Remus – and we can confidently say: he is the best waiter we have ever encountered. From the very beginning, Remus was attentive, warm, and incredibly professional. He understood all our requests immediately and handled everything with such calm and kindness, making us feel truly cared for. Nothing was too much trouble, and he made it all look effortless.
