Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto

We loved our stay here knowing good and well this is a business hotel with the Four Seasons brand and service level. Emily at check-in was incredible in handling a difficult guest in front of us and immediately switching to a warm friendly smile to greet us. She offered local suggestions and even text me after our stay to add another recommendation. Great start to our trip.

Not what I have come to expect from the Four Seasons. The restaurant alone is enough to make me never come back as there are no other options for food within walking distance. Restaurant served cold food, slow service, forgot items, servers did not know the menu. Horrible experience. On the bright side house keeping did restock a bottle of water next to my bed each night after seeing i kept one there while i slept. Felt more like a mid grade hotel than what the Four Seasons is known for. I won’t be staying here again.

It’s just not up to the standard of uncompromising luxury the Four Seasons markets. It’s on par with the upper end of some other national chains but not distinct. Rooms are clean, comfortable. Room service was fine. Staff were friendly. Ultra luxury experience after a long day of travel? No.
