Really had a great time here. Trail from hotel leads to a local hike up a mountain. Food was amazing as usual and room was kept spotless and bug free. Pool area is super fun and they leave mini water toys for you to use. Facility is easy to navigate but very peaceful. Tennis court was undergoing renovation when we stayed last but likely done now for use. Def a nice place to stay in Scottsdale. A bit more away from the hustle and bustle.
I love this resort and its surroundings. The mountains of Scottsdale, Arizona, in the summer months are gorgeous and serene. You can't beat the Arizona sunsets late in the evening. The wildlife is fun to be around and interesting for my granddaughter to observe. The landscaping and wondrous cacti on the grounds of this beautiful resort are incredible. Due to the climate, this resort has a few issues keeping the rooms up-to-date, but overall, they do a pretty good job. The only negative aspect of this hotel is the distances you have to walk. Depending on whether my hip is acting up, it can sometimes be a problem walking to and from your room, to the pool, the grounds, and the local mountain trails. But that's not their issue, it's mine. The service at this Four Seasons Resort, like that of all Four Seasons Resorts, is impeccable. This hotel is a relaxing oasis for those who can stand the desert heat. The pool is pleasant to stay in for most of the day when temperatures reach 110°F or higher. I'm not thrilled with the food at Proof Restaurant, but that has little bearing on any review I write. I can always go to local restaurants at my discretion. All in all, this is a beautiful Four Seasons Resort to stay at, and I look forward to my next visit.
I stayed here with my husband last week and overall it was a wonderful 3-night stay! All of the staff were beyond friendly and helpful - the concierge, the servers at the restaurants, the pool staff, the front desk, housekeepers, etc. When we arrived, staff picked us up in a golf cart and brought us/our luggage to our room, always smiling and assuring to ask them if we needed anything else. Talavera (steakhouse) was excellent: great food, clean environment and amazing staff for a date night. Onyx (outside lounge) had beautiful nighttime views and great food as well. Proof had perfect indoor and outdoor seating along with great service and food! We ordered room service a few times and both times the food was excellent and very quickly delivered to our room. The pools are clean and relaxing (we really enjoyed the adults only pool, as the other pool always had kids jumping in and playing around). The waitstaff at the pool were very friendly and extremely attentive: constantly bringing us fresh ice water, setting up towels on the chairs when we arrived, asking if we would like to order food, etc. The room was clean and inviting (only downside is the bathroom didn't have a vent/fan so it got very warm). The housekeepers were polite and welcoming, and often made small gestures that were very kind (leaving slippers out at nighttime near the bed, leaving a cloth near our sunglasses to clean them, etc.) We had a beautiful balcony with 2 chairs and a pool view. Overall - I would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back again soon. We were very impressed with all of the friendly staff, outstanding views of the desert and the overall relaxing vibe of the resort!
