Traditional Wensleydale pub with above average food. Excellent service and good range of local ales. Highly recommended and not overly expensive. Accept dogs but only in bar or snug areas. Beer garden out back.
Went here a good few times while staying down the road, the food was very good quality and reasonably priced, the beer was excellent, a good choice and variety. It was a really friendly little place as were most pubs in the area that we visited and it was very busy so obviously they are doing something right.
Everything a village pub should be! Welcoming and cozy! The staff goes above and beyond for their customers. The food is outstanding! Don't miss their Sunday lunch...amaaaaazing! Great value!
