We spent a weekend here celebrating our birthdays and recent engagement. We have stayed in many bed and breakfasts and Foxfield is by far our favorite. The inn is quaint, thoughtfully decorated, and very clean. Bridgette the Innkeeper made our stay memorable. She is not only very personable and caring she is an incredible cook. The breakfasts were delicious and she was very accommodating to our dietary restrictions. The meals are thoughtfully prepared. We had lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes that were honestly one of the best pancakes we have ever had. Not to mention the homemade muffins she prepares daily! We didn’t have time to take advantage of the outdoor space which is also beautiful. It includes a gazebo a hot-tub and a koi pond. The location is perfect. It feels secluded but you are within 15-30 minutes to most attractions. We will definitely come back to stay here. Thank you Bridgette!
We spent our honeymoon at the Foxfield Inn and had a wonderful time. The complimentary breakfasts, and soaking tub in our room were particular highlights! More impressive though was the care, consideration, and attention to detail from the innkeeper, Brigitte. It’s clear especially in all the little things throughout the inn she maintains that she is incredibly thoughtful about her guests and invested in them having an enjoyable stay. She really went out of her way to make us feel special as a newly married couple! The location of the Inn was great as well - there was easy access to Charlottesville and the surrounding wine region. Overall highly recommend the Foxfield Inn!!
We stayed here for two nights to celebrate our anniversary. Beautiful, peaceful property, both inside and out. Our hostess, Brigette, was pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully plated. About 20 minutes from Monticello, Highlands, and Montpelier.
