FoxStays Private Resort

Enjoyed our stay at Lago Mar. Lots of great activities available and also places to relax. The grounds were maintained and rooms comfortable. Lots of friendly, helpful staff. We loved being able to rent a beach cabana and enjoy the pools. Because we traveled by plane, it was nice to have towel service for the beach and pool that was included in the stay. Even the bathrooms that were out in the public pool area were clean… which is something we appreciated immensely. For the breakfast bar, we loved the waffles & omelette bar. We also liked having access to drinks and food near the pool area when we needed it.

It was our first time there and we did not regret staying there. the resort has private beach only guests can use the beach. there is security at entrance the staff from the valet service to the reception staff, cleaning staff, restaurant staff everything was spectacular.excellent customer service, clean and beautiful resort peaceful , safe and perfect for family vacation. we were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this resort was. we had an executive suite spcious clean beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. we had a room with view on the pool and beach wigh a big patio balcony with lounge chairs , chairs and table. close to airport and secure closed off resort. food was great at the hotel pool clean, and great service at the beach. will definitely be back. we were allowed to check in early after a long early flight, no charge thank you for taking such good care of your guests

Very nice hotel. Stayed in an executive king suite. Great room. Very spacious and nice. Ate breakfast at the soda shop twice. Ate at the restaurant Acquario. Great fish and crab cakes. Prices not bad. Buffet is a bit expensive. Had a bad experience getting ice cream at the soda shop but the food and beverage manager resolved it nicely. The pool was pretty hot, not very refreshing on a hot day. The beach is huge. Feels like a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the water. Service were nice. Had a few language barrier issues but ultimately was fine. Probably find this hotel more suitable for families versus couples. It's pretty frustrating the charges for any of the hotel bars, shops, restaurant, etc, get put on your room charge and you do not have option to pay another way.
