Fraser Suites Edinburgh

This was a cracking room plenty of space mini fridge and a good sized bathroom. Bed was comfortable if a little firm. Staff throughout was friendly and helpful. This is in the middle of everything you can literally walk to the castle or the main station in a few minutes loads of excellent places to eat surrounding you and some nice places for a drink you are in the middle of it all definitely a great location. We was surprised as it was tattoo and festival time when we used the apartments and it was really quiet at night no noise in our suite. I would suggest buying your beer as it is 4 pounds for a 330ml bottle not cheap but the rest was excellent

A fantastic overnight stay that was close to all of the sites that we wanted to see. Access from the train station is close, but there are many stairs to climb. If traveling with heavy luggage or if stairs are a problem, consider hiring a ride or taking a longer route up the hill from the train station. Staff was very friendly and prompt. They got us into our room before check in time, but will check luggage for free even if the room is not ready. Room was a spacious extended stay style space with high ceilings and a fantastic view. Kitchen was well equipped, though we mostly dined out. The space was clean and comfortable and we slept very peacefully, but the room was a little tired. Little things like a missing TV remote, front desk phone not working, signs of wear on wood surfaces in the bathroom, and paint cracking in places. Even so the value was great relative to the local market so we were pleased with the space. Staff took care of problems with the room promptly once notified. We did not pay the extra cost for breakfast as there are more affordable options nearby. When in Edinburgh in the future, we will be happy to stay at Fraser Suites again. Not perfect, but perfect for our needs of value, privacy, and proximity.

We spent three nights in the one bedroom city view room. Check-in was flawless and we were off to the room within a couple minutes. The room required us to climb one flight of stairs to the 7th floor but I think this is one of the best city views in Edinburgh. There are three of us so we needed the extra space and the room size was perfect. Good quality soaps, towel warmer, a small kitchen area with refrigerator and microwave are some of the room amenities. A small table for three is in the perfect spot by the window to enjoy the sunset view. The entire staff was very nice and always greeted us warmly. We hope to stay here again some day and enjoyed our visit to Edinburgh.
