Fredensborg Badehotel

We spent some wonderful days here, in a large room on the ground floor with a view of the sea and access to a beautiful backyard. Location is excellent, in a quiet place near Rønne, with a bus stop right in front of the hotel and bicycle lanes all around. You can borrow a bicycle from the hotel and explore the area. Breakfast was really good with a lot of options. Dinner comes with less options, but everything we tried was good. The only problem we had is that at night it is hard to enjoy the backyard because of mosquitoes. This is not a problem if you sit outside the hotel restaurant, but it becomes one if you go a bit farther on one of the benches near the trees.

The rooms & bathrooms are huge with loads of storage drawers & closet space. The balconies are spacious. Most rooms have an ocean view. Every morning we ate breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean. The breakfast buffet was also quite generous with a variety of hot & cold dishes to satisfy any breakfast preference from American to Scandinavian. The interior design is classic, simple and refined Nordic, which added to the calming experience. We’re definitely coming back to this oasis of peace.

Excellent service. Has a great view to the sea, and a short distance to the beach. Nice rooms with a great bathroom and easy access to the outside. Nice breakfast buffet with delicious egg & bacon and Croissants. With almost everything, if not everything, being homemade. Nice jacuzzi, placed close to the edge for a good view to the sea, while you chill in the nice clean and varm water, which gets emptied after every use, to keep the water clean. Overall just a great experience and special thanks to Kasper and Frederik for providing a really nice experience.
