Wow — an 11/10 experience! We bicycled from Stockholm to stay one night and arrived around 7pm — both after the tour of the fortress and close to dinner time ending after we got cleaned up. We were greeted by the lovely host and her team and they graciously offered (without us asking) to provide a private tour for us and extended the dinner serving time for us! In addition to the above and beyond hospitality, the room, breakfast, dinner, and landscapes are simply wonderful. The dining and food and drink options were absolutely delicious — we got the ribeye and fish along with a few appetizers and drinks. I only wish we booked more nights! Can’t wait to come back… although far from where we live in California :)
A magical place. A direct view of the sea, with ships passing literally right next to you. Very friendly and courteous staff, delicious food, and spotlessly clean rooms. Whatever I write, it still won’t be enough to capture how special this place truly is. I can’t wait to come back here — and stay longer next time.
Great archipelago experience. Very calm and cozy place. Great traditional Swedish food.
