A truly enjoyable week for me! We stayed the first week of August and had a wonderful time. The sea was crystal clear and the property was in an excellent location. The food was varied and of good quality. The highlight is undoubtedly the truly spectacular entertainment! The team of Marco Vannucci, Luca, Beppe, Mary, and Jonny make all the difference, providing moments of absolute fun. The mini club, managed by Alessio and his team, was also fantastic. They were really attentive to our 3-year-old son. The maître d', Tony, was also excellent. I would gladly return if the entertainment team were confirmed. The only downside is the rooms that could use some updating.
Exceptional sea and beach. Huge facility surrounded by well-maintained greenery. Some areas could use some renovation, in my opinion. I liked the Moby 2 restaurant, which I was assigned. The food was decent, not a huge selection, but everything was good and fresh. The staff and employees were very friendly and polite, without exception. The only flaw, in my opinion, is that there's only one bar, and it doesn't open until 12:00. One closer to the beach would be perfect. Overall, I give the facility a 7.5... I give the entertainment a 9...the staff are competent, the evening shows are great, but there's something for everyone during the day, too. The guy at the piano bar was great. For Costa Rei, in terms of location and sea, I'd give it a 10. If you ask me if I'd go back, I think so. Sardinia is a wonderful place.
The hotel is beautifully located, with a stunning beach that definitely adds to the overall experience. The food was acceptable, though not outstanding. However, I had some concerns about the service and certain aspects of the facility management. In particular, during high temperatures, there were no accessible water stations near the training areas. The existing water stations clearly stated that refilling personal bottles was not allowed for hygiene reasons — something I found questionable, especially in an all-inclusive resort where easy access to water should be a given, particularly for those engaging in sports. Another issue I found quite concerning was the condition of the wooden pathways on the beach. They were extremely uneven and unstable. I witnessed an elderly woman fall and require assistance to get up. Although staff were informed, only minimal action was taken — some sand was swept away, but the structural problem remained unaddressed. This presents a serious safety risk. All in all, the location itself is certainly worth visiting, but in terms of service and attention to detail, there is definitely room for improvement. Other places may offer a more well-rounded experience for the price.
