Fufu Kawaguchiko

All I can say is WOW. My husband and I decided to splurge on a 2-night stay here for our wedding anniversary and everything was absolutely impeccable. The food services (course breakfast and dinner) were amazing, the service and welcoming atmosphere were unmatched, and the rooms and resort itself were so comfortable and beautiful! I couldn’t stop looking at the beautiful furnishings and the vibe overall was just so peaceful. It was worth the price!!! Will definitely want to stay here again!!

Amazing little hotel where you can have your own private Onsen bath with a great view of Mt. Fuji. I have not felt this comfortable in a hotel for a long time. The staff was friendly and attentive, and I have to mention the friendly barkeeper, we tried a lot of his cocktails and they were all great (especially his own creations)! My only critique would be that they serve too much food so I felt bad leaving a lot of it at breakfast, and that there was no option to choose between Japanese or Western style Breakfast (for us it depended on the day). Dinner was also amazing and the service was extremely quick. Will definitely recommend it!

One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. Beautiful architecture. Every detail is thought-out. Quiet and tucked into hillside with superb views of Mt Fuji. Dinner was fine dining with multiple courses. Traditional Japanese food, but not unapproachable for Western tourists. Getting there was a trek, but worth it. Great place to end a trip to Japan. Relaxing.
