We stayed for one night in November and it was as advertised. There's a nice view of Mount Fuji. There are heating in the dining/kitchen and bedrooms. I highly recommend this flat and we booked it via AirBnB.
Nice little place. Pros - quiet & easy to get to - very near sightseeing spots - fairly comfortable beds (upstairs room) - full kitchen, microwave, fridge (and dining is upstairs) - washing machine (though insufficient liquid for 4 nights and could have labelled some of the buttons for easy operation like other places) - nice powerful hair dryer - 2 Toilets (upstairs and downstairs) - fairly nice view of Mt Fuji Cons - small spaces / narrow - below average futons (downstairs room) - bathtub doesn’t work - insufficient hot water for 4 pax to shower (can’t imagine staying here when it’s colder and need warm/hot shower) - insufficient rubbish bags (for us staying 4 nights) - parking is a bit tricky for some - toothbrushes & toothpaste provided insufficient for 4 days - no water filter for drinking - fairly expensive ¥86k for weekends, ¥36.6k for weekdays in May - don’t think anyone comes to clean up the place (and we stayed for 4 nights)
Brand new, super clean townhouse with a parking space. It’s a two story that sleeps 4 people comfortably - 2 twin beds upstairs and 2 futons downstairs. Has all the amenities of a full kitchen and laundry room. It has a toilet upstairs and full bath downstairs. Many restaurant options with excellent reviews very close and within walking distance to the property. The house is in an excellent location - very close to Lake Kawaguchi & Yamanakako (10-20 mins). The owner was very responsive and overall communication was great with wonderful recommendations for restaurants. The walls are paper thin… It is a shame that the place is used as a party house where the next door neighbors are banging on the walls, drinking, yelling and vomiting all night and into the early morning hours - especially on the weekends. It’s now two nights in a row with very little sleep. I do not recommend this place to stay if you have children or are looking for a quiet evening and definitely not on the weekends. During the mid day week it’s very quiet.
