Absolutely loved my stay here for one night. We were looking for Hotels last min as it was cloudy and incredibly foggy during the day and we didn’t want to leave without seeing Mount Fuji. We were exhausted after driving around in the rain and this Hotel was the best place to unwind. The room was clean and spacious. The staff friendly and helpful. We booked the superior twin room on higher floor with Mount Fuji view and the views were majestic in the morning😍😍😍I couldn’t believe my eyes when I woke up and it was deffo one of my highlights of my whole Japan trip. Since we were on higher floors we didn’t have the Electric wires blocking the view. I loved the private Onsen experience, it was 3000 Yen for a 45 minute session and that was perfect for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was so grateful to have the room to myself as most Onsens are public🥲. There’s also a seven eleven roughly a min walk away which was useful. Didn’t have time to go to the resort, but will deffo try if we come next time! Also, the bus to get to the Kawaguchi Bus station was incredibly helpful as it’s rlly hard to get around without a rental. Overall, very worth the price.
I stayed here in Mid April and it was great! The room is spacious with Mount Fuji view. I booked last minute and the view was a little-blocked one, guess that’s what I could get. There’s one Izakaya just in front of the hotel (didn’t get to try) and one home stay across the street offering Japanized western food (with good price). It’s about 10 mins walk from the main Kawaguchiko Station.
We are the Indian group of tourists-we are staunchly vegetarian.-under our religious obligation. Only two options (salads and rice) were available for us in dinner amidst the elaborate buffet spread for the other guests. Our only request to the restaurant staff was just to heat up our pre-cooked packaged food. To which, we were denied for any Co-operation from the Front Desk Manager. Upon many requests by us and after the intervention of our tour guide, we were allowed to heat up the food. We were also denied to sit in the regular restaurant, and were accommodated in the NON AC staff room. This was a shocking experience and raised the question mark about the so very well appreciated Japanese hospitality and culture.
