It’s definitely worth the money, and I 100% recommend this hotel. Everything is excellent, the view of Mount Fuji and the entire town is stunning, and the staff at the front desk are very polite, friendly, and approachable. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them because they are very patient. So, if you're coming to Mishima, stay at this hotel. The whole experience is fantastic. I love it here and regret staying only for two nights. If I had more time, I would definitely stay longer. The room is designed in a traditional Japanese style, with tatami mats and a beautiful combination of wood and white tones. The atmosphere really calms my mind. I also love how much attention the hotel designer paid to every detail, even down to the slippers, which are traditional Japanese style and for one-time use. I just love everything about this place. I can't find the words to fully express how much I love this hotel.
Pros: 0. Presumably there's a view of Mount Fuji, but it was rainy, so a city and a fantastic train view instead 1. Public bath outdoor is cozy. Cons: 1.Roller blinds do not block out all the light, need an eye mask. 2. Window is sealed but not quite enough, got a room on the 7th floor facing Fuji and can still hear some station announcements. 3. Breakfast venue also crowded at peak times around 8am. Reasonably large selection. Hot coffee is bad. No non dairy milk options. Not really worth it as a paid option.
Just an okay experience. The first room received the bathroom smelled like sewage. Finally had it changed to another room, had to repack and move everything. There was no compensation, free breakfast, etc. for this inconvenience and this is where this hotel falls short. This is poor customer service and hospital management.
