Hotel is near to Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. Just 10 minutes walking distance like their well-equiped sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The gym only has 2 step machine and treadmill. There is no swimming pool. I suggest to add cycling machine and muscle building machine. I also suggest to provide bolsters in rooms. A lot of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. In the hotel, there are many water dispenser machines available. There are coin laundry machines for washing and dryer which makes it convenience
Front desk personnel were respectful and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast food was great! I had trouble with the booking process as the page translation wasn't very clear to me and I had to ask my niece who lives in Taiwan to help me book a room. Although I had no need for disposable amenities, it would be nice to have.a note in the room if they were available upon request. Lastly, it would have been nice to have walking directions from the MRT Station 9 included in the email as I had to rely on google maps and wasn't quite sure which direction to go (even though it was literally straight down one road and a left turn, google maps wanted me to walk a longer route). The 10 minute walk from the MRT wasn't so bad. I felt safe.
The hotel is good, clean and spacious. I like the room size, and the view in the room. However, The front desk staff had a cold attitude, whenever during check-in, calling for help, or asking questions in person, which made me feel unwelcome and unable to get helped. Besides, I noticed there is unorganized work in the hotel. My booking included breakfast, but I had an early flight. I spoke to the front desk the evening before, and they said they could pack a sandwich for early check-in guests. They noted my breakfast request. However, when I checked out early the next morning, the front desk was unaware of my takeaway breakfast request. There are 2 soft drinks in the fridge while no bottle water in it. I am not sure those drinks are for free or need to be paid. There is no any sign in the room, and front desk didn't mention it neither.
