I am staying at this hotel for a couple of days. There are two very nice works of art at the lobby: a huge painting behind the check-in counter and a beautiful sculpture after the entrance. It sets the tone for the rest.
I love this hotel. It’s beautiful, classy, and friendly. Plus the bartender makes a perfect dry gin Martini (rare in these parts). Delicious breakfast. Lovely hot spring (aka hot tub). Comfortable beds! Thoughtful bathroom lighting!
I traveled a lot and thought that I understood what a 5-star hotel was supposed to look like. however, I am not sure anymore. I booked this hotel for my family as I wanted them to feel comfortable. However, this hotel room is really old and dirty. Very disappointed.
