Furama Chiang Mai

We stay 4 nights at this hotel on 15th floor. It’s old, but we love it. The room is spacious, the king (or queen) -size bed is comfortably firm, the water pressure is great filling large jacuzzi tub in a few minutes. It’s 5-6 minutes walk to One Nimmann area and Maya Department Store. And of course, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. To us, it’s great value for money.

It's ok. The building is old and solid. The room was rather dated but clean. The water is great, very hot with high pressure. Sadly the pool and roof were not open because of maintenance (since 8/05/25). we didn't take breakfast. The staff were a little perfunctory in manner, but capable enough when in spoken English.

Spacious room with a nice view, but except those the room really needs to be fixed. The plug was not working, the hairdryer didn't work and I had to call 2 times until the staff brought the new one for me. They had only 1 pillow for each guest, a dirty balcony, dusty AC filter with a lot of spider webs when we arrived. The AC was not cold, felt just like using the normal fan. And there is a plug socket on the ceiling inside the shower room which is so unsafe. Except the room, the location was good, the staff service was great, and the lobby is clean and comfortable.
