Furaveri Maldives

It felt like a dream – truly beyond words. From the moment we landed, the Furaveri team made everything seamless. They warmly received us, took charge of our luggage, and before we even noticed, it was safely transferred to our villa with care. I could write a whole story about the experience, but to keep it short: the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Mae from reception, Ismail from room service, Manu, and many others at the restaurant whose names I can’t recall – each of them went above and beyond. Our room was cleaned twice a day with exceptional attention to detail. Fresh towels were always available for both bathing and swimming. The food at the main restaurant, Jaafaiy, was outstanding. The theme changed every night during our five-night stay – Mediterranean, Arabic, Asian, Maldivian – and every dinner felt like a new culinary experience. The breakfast spread was equally impressive. From the food and service to the beach, facilities, cleanliness, and even the seaplane transfer – everything was exceptional. I highly recommend Furaveri and can't wait to return!

A True Maldivian Gem – My Third Visit and Still Spectacular! This was my third time at Furaveri, and once again, it exceeded expectations. Although I once tried switching to a more luxurious resort, I can honestly say that Furaveri stole my heart and remains my favorite. It's the kind of place that perfectly embodies what the Maldives promise: natural beauty, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. The island is lush, green, and immaculately maintained — not too big, yet very well organized with excellent facilities including a full spa, fitness center, and diving hub. Rooms are huge, impeccably clean, and well air-conditioned. The beach is breathtaking, with the most turquoise waters I’ve ever seen. The main restaurant offers a rich variety of high-quality food, with daily changing international dishes. While I couldn't try the specialty restaurants (Mexican, Asian, and Mediterranean) due to my current diet, I visited the locations and they looked simply fantastic — beautifully designed and inviting. After a week, I asked for some boiled vegetables for my diet, and from that evening on, the chefs prepared for me the most delicate and beautifully presented vegetable dishes — worthy of a Michelin-starred kitchen. It was such a thoughtful and refined gesture. All the staff are genuinely lovely — always smiling, attentive but never intrusive. Their warmth is authentic, and their care for guests makes everyday feel special. Snorkeling from the beach is a beautiful and relaxing experience, with plenty of marine life and clear waters that invite exploration. Although I didn’t get the chance to try the glass-bottom kayak, it looked amazing — the crystal-clear waters make it feel like you’re floating over an aquarium. Special mention to Sam, our island host, who was extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay. Shaily, who sometimes stepped in, was equally wonderful. And Pankaj, our housekeeper, went above and beyond every day. We've missed him since we left! Minor downside: spa treatments are definitely on the expensive side. A massage here costs more than many 5-star hotels in Europe, otherwise I would have received it once a day. But the service and ambiance almost make up for the steep prices. Overall, Furaveri is a perfect blend of serenity and fun, luxury and nature. Whether you're sipping a cocktail in your private jacuzzi watching the sunset or relaxing under the palms, this place offers unforgettable moments. We’ll certainly be back again. Highly recommended!

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful a stunning location, clean and well-maintained rooms, and an overall peaceful atmosphere that made the stay very enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, neat, and exactly as described. I truly appreciated the aesthetic and comfort of the place. However, I was quite disappointed with the customer service experience. The welcoming lacked warmth, and the responsiveness to requests or questions was slow and unprofessional. There were noticeable lapses in basic hospitality and communication, especially from the island host, Mihad, whose approach and attitude did not meet the standards expected from such a high-end destination. Additionally, we were moved from one room to another during our stay, and our luggage was left outside the new room under the sun for a considerable amount of time — something we did not expect from a property of this standard. The service at the main restaurant was also below expectations. The staff there were inattentive & dismissive which greatly affected the overall experience. Despite the exceptional setting and amenities, the lack of courteous and attentive service was a letdown. I hope the management addresses these issues, as the property itself has so much potential to offer a truly outstanding experience.
