Futura Club Itaca Nausicaa

The Calabrian experience was lovely. If you want to spend your vacation with your family in a place with great food, quiet beach, friendly and responsive staff, fun games and activities, and great, amazing Italian music and dancing, then this is the place for you. The buildings at Itaca site were not very new, however everything was well-maintained. If you are coming from Bari, stop at the safari on your way to the resort. Quite remarkable.

The food was AMAZING. The hotel area and pools were always clean. The staff and animators very friendly and helpful but onlý the animators spoke english, Everybody else spoke italian. The quality of the beds/matrasses wasnt the best but i Managed to sleep Quite comfortably and never woke up tired because of that. The beach is sandy only around the sunbeds and then in the sea around 2-3 meters from the shore. I didnt mind it because the sea was just so clean and beautiful. There were activities around every hour Like water aerobik and tennis etc where a trainer or lecturer was waiting in čase somebody doesnt hlave a partner so People would Be enetertained all the time. I was never bored for a second and reálky enjoyed my holidays.

It's an old fun Waterpark... That needs some maintenance and upgrades. The reception staff don't speak English to good... They in need of training how to deal with clients... Customer care definitely needed... Rooms are OK for a budget option... We were not explained a single then about the resort.. Food was mediocre and all the food was cleared out and packed away by 9.20pm.. The restaurant staff need lots of training.. I got walked out of the way by 3 of the waiters in a hurry to pack up and knock off.. And at a rate of 1000 euros for 6 nites full board.. I am sure I could have gotten a better place.
