Great location, offers free parking, which is rare in Bristol. Rooms were comfy, clean and even our more basic room was well equipped. Breakfast was great, no hassle during check-in and check out. Recommend for short shirt trips to Bristol.

Fab hotel, situated perfect for Cabot Circus, the Hypodrome and restaurants. They paid my parking bill for me as well. Rooms were comfy, big with all the extras you need. We got back to the hotel around 11-30pm, after the show and it was nice to see the bar open! The breakfast in the morning was a fab experience, the waiter, called DANIEL,went above and beyond, he welcomed us, made us comfy and explained all to us. After deciding what we wanted, including omelettes and poached eggs, Daniel left, sorted it out with the chef the delivered all our food nice and hot, he made us smile and put us in a good mood to start the day. We noticed he wished everyone a happy day as they left, cleaned all the tables straight away, very attentive to detail. I asked him his name, as I wanted to mention him in a review, if I run a catering business, I would like to employ people like Daniel! Give him a pat on the back or even better, a pay rise! Lovely hotel, will return.

Stayed for two nights in June 2025. I arrived in Bristol at 4:10 am, and got to the hotel to request early check in - I was told to come back at around 12:00pm. I had requested early check-in beforehand through booking and was told that it would depend on the day, so I thought it was reasonable that early check in was not available. They were able to store my luggage while I roamed around Bristol from 5:00 am to 11:00 am. My room was available when I returned at 11:00 am. While the treatment was polite, I thought it was odd that they wouldn’t suggest that I wait in their lounge until my room became available (instead recommending I “come back later”) - there was nothing open at 5:00 am and I had to wander about aimlessly for a few hours until breakfast places opened. When I ultimately checked in they asked for my credit card details despite the fact that I had already paid. It is the first time a hotel has asked for that, usually a deposit or my passport is requested as insurance. I requested confirmation that my data was deleted but got none of that after checking out, as it was explained to me that it was not possible to provide it. Lastly, the fire alarm rang while I was in my room - it was a fire alarm test. I understand it must have been nevessary but it certainly interfered with my comfort at the time! The staff was generally kind, polite, and professional. My room was very nice, but under the sheets it smelled of cigarettes! Other than that it was clean.
