Stayed here long time ago way before their renovation. First time back and indeed look different from previously. Room itself still huge size. Can accommodate 3 pax with an extra bed. Clean, spacious and bright. Free mini bar and daily replenishment. Housekeeping is doing a great job. Friendly staff at the reception. Nice small gym. Superb location as it is a stone throw to 2 malls. No issue with calling grab. Strongly recommended.

The staff at G hotel are very efficient n friendly. Special mention is Ray from the conceige. He is very efficient, friendly, patient n helpful. Yesterday, he went the extra mile by offering to bring me to Kelawai nxt door as I was rather curious. He was very knowledgeable n explained in detail abt the different kind of svc that separates the 2 hotels offered. Whenever I needed to do some exploring, he recommended places as to where the best places to eat n shop. He suggested hiring a car to bring me around. Price may be quite steep but overall it was worth the time n money spent. The driver was also very good n knows where to get good local stuff. The next day I decided to hv Ray calling the same driver again to bring me to different places. Ray has really been a great help n is an exemplary staff. I strongly recommend him to get a promotion. Keep up the good work Ray n all the best to u in yr future. Continue to do a great job n good luck in whatever u do.

This stylish room at G Hotel in Penang offers a cozy, modern retreat with elegant touches like a birch-patterned feature wall, plush bedding, and soft ambient lighting. The spacious layout includes a comfortable king-sized bed, a relaxing reading nook with an orange lounge chair, and a well-equipped work desk perfect for business or leisure. The things inside the minibar were free! They even have sugar replacement sachet provided as standard room amenities. I truly enjoyed the swimming pool, which was a fun and safe experience for me and my 1 year 6 months old baby. The buffet breakfast was another highlight — a generous spread with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. I love that they have a wide range of bread, pasties and cheese! Gurney plaza which is right next door offers a nice luxury shopping experience. However, there is currently construction work taking place opposite the hotel at the gurney bay area and as a result, sea view is now gone. While the interior and facilities of G Hotel remain excellent, this change might affect those hoping for a scenic coastal view from their room.
