G3 Hotel

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Seoul! I stayed for 6 nights and was impressed by the excellent room cleaning service and the helpfulness of the receptionist. The room was clean, bright, and comfortable. It’s within walking distance to Chungmuro Station and Myeongdong shopping street. Plus, the hotel is located right in front of a subway station, making it super convenient for travelers. Convenient store is just around the hotel.

Location is fab, room and facilities is new and clean. But you have to be aware that the thermoset is not allow for cold air during winter, it will only be blowing hot warm air. Hotel staff will ask you to open the window as it 6-10 degree out, on days that the temp is high, you are gonna be feeling very warm in the room under the blanket & you are gonna be damn dry after a few nights!

Our stay was severely impacted by a non-functional AC/heater system, leaving the room unbearably stuffy despite outdoor temperatures of 5-7°C. A kind housekeeping staff member provided a small fan for temporary relief, but it did little to alleviate the oppressive heat. Meanwhile, my sister’s room in the same hotel had a fully operational system, highlighting inconsistent maintenance standards. When we raised the issue, the front desk dismissed our concerns, insisting it was “normal operation” in cold weather and advising us to “open the windows.” This impractical “solution” only made things worse, creating an uncomfortable mix of freezing drafts and stagnant heat. Frustratingly, the AC system automatically started working—only on our checkout day. Similar complaints on Google confirm this is a recurring issue the hotel knowingly ignores. Avoid booking here if you value a comfortable sleep environment, consistent service, or basic professionalism.
