Stayed there in February for one night on the top floor. It was very good. Plenty of space. Nice views. Great breakfast. VG service. Would definitely stay again. Perhaps a small fridge would be an improvement?
I received a warm welcome from the friendly staff here. The room was clean and comfortable. One room is on the ground floor if you are looking for accessibility. The building is a well-maintained older home and has beautiful landscaping. A good breakfast was included. I would gladly stay again.
The Gables was conveniently located just down the street from the Wine Tram main station, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The property was clean, well-equipped, and situated in a quiet, quaint neighborhood. We stayed in the Grand Suite, which offered plenty of space and the added bonus of air conditioning — a huge plus. The room itself was a bit dated, and it's worth noting that access requires climbing a few stairs, which could be a consideration if you have heavy luggage. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay with a simple but satisfying breakfast.
