GajaPuri Resort Koh Chang

Our stay at Gajapuri Resort & Spa was fantastic! Everything about this place was lovely, but the staff truly made it exceptional. The breakfast was good, but honestly, the staff was even better! During our 4-night stay, which included my birthday, they pulled off the most wonderful surprise. On my birthday morning, they brought out a cake and sang 'Happy Birthday' at breakfast – a truly lovely gesture, knowing it was my birthday from my ID. A huge thank you to everyone, especially Sai, who is just the best – so helpful and always with a warm smile. We also absolutely loved our room; it was big, beautifully made of wood, and felt so cozy and warm. We'll definitely be back!

Liked · There were two pools and one was for adults only. From that pool, you could see the ocean and the sunsets. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff very friendly. This was the perfect place to stay in Koh Chang. Disliked · This would have been a 10-star review except two issues. One was a 40 baht per day tax that was not mentioned previously. It's very small ($1.25 per day), but it should have been included in the price. I don't like additional fees/taxes getting added after you arrive. It feels like a bait-and-switch. Second is the Wifi. It's great near the pool and in the breakfast room. Some bungalows probably had excellent Wifi, but ours was terrible. And it is public access so I couldn't trust that people on the network were even hotel guests.

This is a lovely tranquil place... no loud music, beautiful gardens, plants and trees with birds and butterflies surrounding you, you really feel like your with nature. The pool is gorgeous, very much appreciate the adults only pool and garden section! The sun loungers are very spaced out and plentiful, no issues getting a spot. Rooms are old thai style dark wood, with plenty of room. Only negative being I feel an update needed in the rooms. Only 2 plug sockets and no USB and would have appreciated a gym. Regardless a great stay, comfortable and quiet and right in the centre of the village.
