I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, also arrived around 2am and the host there was very welcoming and friendly. He showed me around and helped with everything I needed such as WiFi, SIM card and food. When I entered the room I was very surprised as it was really nice and clean. The AC really saved me during my stay. The location of the hotel is also amazing. 2 minutes away from the Main Street Istiklal which the main attraction as well. Cafes, restaurants, shops and pharmacies were so close, I didn’t need to think about anything. Next time I’m coming back to this hotel 100%
Perfect Stay at Galata Door Hotel! My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Galata Door Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect — just 2 minutes from Galata Tower, 4 minutes from Istiklal Street, and 6 minutes from Karaköy. The room was cleaned daily, and we were always provided with fresh water, coffee, and tea. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. We truly felt welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Istanbul
Alas items were stolen from our suitcase during the day. I especially waited until we got home to be sure, but most definitely a pair of Gucci sunglasses and a silver necklace were taken out of their bags in our suitcase. Little doubt that it was the maid while cleaning the room, so if you decide to go to this hotel: don't leave anything of value in your room. The reception was not very interested also.
