Galata's Hotel

This hotel turned out to be a great stay. Great location, amazing friendly staff, and very clean rooms. It’s in a noisy part of torn but you are surrounded by awesome restaurants and cafes. Very close and central to all the Istanbul attractions.

We had a great time at Galata's Hotel. Really clean rooms and a nice breakfast setup. We were on the 4th floor and slept with the windows open as it was a little warm in the room. You could hear the street noise but it wasn't an issue for us at all. The location is perfect. It's so easy to get anywhere on a ferry, walking, or tram.

I was quite surprised that this hotel is rated as 4 stars. Upon arrival, there was an unpleasant smell in the lobby area—which, to be honest, didn’t feel like a real lobby at all. It was just a long sofa with no proper welcoming space. The room itself was very small, and the bed was also quite compact, making the stay less comfortable than expected. There was no coffee machine in the room, only a small kettle with instant Nescafé, which felt a bit underwhelming for a hotel of this category. On a positive note, two of the receptionists were very kind and welcoming. However, the rest of the staff didn’t leave the same impression. The main advantage of the hotel is its location, especially its proximity to the Biosphere, which is quite convenient
